FaighPaid

For independent businesses in Ireland

Get paid on time, without the awkward chasing.

FaighPaid keeps a friendly, firm, then final reminder ready for every overdue invoice. For late-paying business clients it calculates the statutory interest and compensation set out in S.I. 580/2012 for you to review. Reminders are manual by default. You can switch on Autopilot if you want them sent on schedule.

Free with unlimited invoices during launch. No card required.

From work to follow-up

  1. Create with the right details.Add a client, describe the work and review the VAT and total before creating.
  2. See which payments need attention.Find unpaid and overdue invoices without working through a spreadsheet.
  3. Follow up deliberately.Send each reminder yourself, or switch on Autopilot in Settings so the scheduled 3/7/14-day reminders and the final statutory notice go out on their own.

When a business client pays late, FaighPaid calculates the figures under S.I. 580/2012 (the ECB reference rate plus 8 points, and €40/€70/€100 recovery compensation) for you to review. It is a calculation aid, not legal advice.

You send each reminder to your client yourself. Nothing is emailed automatically unless you turn on Autopilot in Settings, which is off by default and sends the 3/7/14-day reminders on schedule. Keep invoice amounts, due dates and ready-to-send reminders together — without rebuilding totals or rewriting every chase. For seller-direct payments, clients use bank transfer to your own IBAN or your own hosted card-payment link. An external card link does not fill or verify the invoice details: clients must enter the amount and invoice reference.

A client saying “I’ve paid” pauses reminders; it does not verify that money arrived. Check your bank or provider before confirming receipt.

Bill UK clients in pounds sterling

A GBP invoice asks your client to pay the GBP amount to your bank or payment provider; check that your account or link accepts GBP, since conversion and transfer or card fees depend on those providers. FaighPaid’s frozen ECB rate is for the invoice’s euro figures, not the exchange rate your bank uses to settle the payment.

The saved conversion rate is dated and does not change on the issued invoice. The invoice and credit figures supplied to your accountant are reported in euro; they are not a VAT return or bank reconciliation.

How invoicing UK clients in GBP works

Questions before you start

Is FaighPaid free?

Free with unlimited invoices during launch. No card required.

Can I invoice in pounds sterling?

Yes. Choose GBP and review the requested VAT conversion date and the dated ECB rate. Check that your bank or provider can receive GBP. The euro reporting figures do not predict settlement fees or your bank’s exchange rate.

Are reminders automatic?

Not by default. By default FaighPaid writes each reminder and you send it from your own email or WhatsApp, or with one click through FaighPaid. Switch on Autopilot in Settings and the scheduled 3/7/14-day reminders and the final statutory notice are sent for you. Creating an invoice never emails it.

Can clients pay by card?

You can offer bank transfer to your own IBAN and an optional hosted card link from your provider. Add an existing HTTPS payment link in Settings. The link is shared across your invoices, so the client must enter the amount and invoice reference and check the currency.

What happens when I cancel?

Cancelling your plan does not itself delete invoices. Manage or cancel a paid plan in Settings; Stripe shows when cancellation takes effect. Keep your own copies of financial records; see our privacy policy for retention and account-closure information.
